I hope your year is off to a wonderful start. It’s been an exceptionally busy winter at PureWest, with January activity outpacing recent years and February showing similar momentum. Across the region, the market is gaining renewed energy — buyer activity is increasing, prices remain balanced, and interest rates are beginning to ease. More homeowners are deciding to make a move, including some who previously held onto low pandemic-era rates, bringing fresh opportunities to market.

Southwest Montana’s 2025 real estate market reflected a more measured pace across Gallatin, Madison, and Park Counties. Residential units sold held relatively steady overall, median prices remained strong, and total sales volume was largely consistent with slight shifts between counties. Days on market increased modestly throughout much of the region, signaling more deliberate buyer decision-making. The year closed with stable demand and a residential market settling into a sustainable rhythm.
